SASI Updates from Côte d’Ivoire – Driving Change with Measurable Impact

10-Point Plan for a Sustainable Cocoa Sector: BMZ and BMEL reinforce commitment

The Federal Minister of Agriculture Cem Özdemir and State Secretary at the BMZ Jochen Flasbarth presented a new version of the 10-point plan for a sustainable cocoa sector at the Green Week. The new version takes into account the new supply chain legislation and reflects the progress and current developments in the cocoa sector.

Field Studies on Collaborative Insights to Strengthen Gender Approaches in India and beyond

The GIZ implemented global programme Sustainability and Value Added in Agricultural Supply Chains Agrichains has published a booklet entitled "Building Bridges: Collaborative Insights to Strengthen Gender Approaches in Developmental Work" through its project component in India. It describes approaches and experiences to empower women along agricultural supply chains in India and beyond.

Feasibility study: Grievance mechanism in the Ivorian cocoa sector

A consortium of private and non-profit partners has launched a feasibility study for a cross-company grievance mechanism in Côte d'Ivoire's cocoa sector. The initiative aims to provide the basis for a CSDDD-compliant and scalable grievance mechanism that ensures cocoa producers' grievances are effectively heard and addressed.
