SASI works towards an economically, socially, and environmentally sustainable transformation of global agricultural supply chains. In collaboration with politics, private sector and civil society, we put sustainability topics on the agenda and shape political discourse. We support the implementation of EU regulations and highlight opportunities within this framework. We promote corporate responsibility that goes beyond legal requirements.

Round 3 started

The German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and SASI are promoting promising approaches to fulfilling corporate due diligence with a new competition fund. Together with the agri-food sector and its suppliers, we want to achieve greater sustainability in global agricultural supply chains and improve the living conditions of smallholders and plantation workers on the ground in OECD’s DAC-countries. In the 3rd round, Projects are funded with a sum of 50,000 to EUR 123,000 over a period of up to 18 months.

Working together creates strength

We create project consortia with different partners and count on their innovations and expertise to achieve sustainable development goals. We support our partners in building networks and alliances and welcome both sustainability pioneers who want to implement a strategy with us and partners who are breaking new ground in this area. Wherever you are - talk to us!

Practical Pathways to Achievable Due Diligence

We demonstrate that implementing due diligence obligations is feasible for everyone. This virtual discussion format actively supports you in complying with regulatory requirements. We provide you with various practical tools and guidelines focused on the agricultural and food industry. Additionally, we keep an eye on EU legislative processes and international discussions, report on recent developments and engage directly with the relevant authorities. A key component of the format is incorporating the perspective of people and companies in partner countries.
