DIASCA Working Group on Traceability and Governance: Semantic and Syntactic Interoperability

Dear members of the DIASCA Working Group on Traceability and Governance,

We invite you to join the next Traceability and Governance Working Group meeting on 8th April from 3 pm to 4:30 pm (CET):  Towards Semantic and Syntactic Interoperability in Supply Chain Systems.

The DIASCA  network is organized around three interlinked working groups:
Forest Monitoring advances the discipline and application of forest monitoring;
Traceability & Governance advances collaborative design and implementation of interoperable approaches to chain of custody and data sharing; and Living Income examines how to leverage supply chains in service of social and economic outcomes. These groups develop tools and approaches of broad applicability even as they seek to anchor interventions in country contexts.

In its next meeting on April 8th, the Traceability Working group will continue to drive action on areas identified in the group’s technical Working Paper, examining and demonstrating tractable approaches to semantic and syntactic interoperability of supply chain systems.

We will share a more detailed agenda of the meeting soon. If you receive a meeting invite, please feel free to forward it to any interested colleagues.  We hope they will also sign up to join the group on the DIASCA web page for future updates and engagement.

See you soon,

The DIASCA Team
