Due Diligence Fund: Lessons Learned with focus on first mile traceabilty
Dear friends of the Sustainable Agricultural Supply Chains Initiative (SASI),
We are pleased to invite you to the 1st SASI Lunchbreak on November 8th, 2024, from 12:00 to 13:00 CET.
In this kick-off event of our new Lunchbreak series, we will focus on the Due Diligence Fund (DDF), which started its 3rd competition round in October.
So far, the DDF has supported 13 innovative projects that illustrate how corporate due diligence can be implemented in practice. In this lunch break, we would like to share with you our lessons learned from the practical implementation of these projects.
We are also pleased to welcome Better Cotton, who will report on their learning experiences from two DDF projects in the field of cotton traceability.
In addition, you will receive all the important information about the 3rd round of the DDF competition, for which you will soon be able to apply with your own project idea.

In our series of events, we will show you that implementing due diligence is feasible for everyone. With our expertise, we want to actively support you in the implementation. On the one hand, we will present various practice-oriented tools and guidelines with a focus on the agricultural and food sector. On the other hand, we keep an eye on ongoing EU legislative processes and international discussions for you. It is also indispensable to take the perspective of the people and companies in the partner countries. We want to include them through our cooperation on the ground. "From the legal code to the Agricultural Supply Chain" is a regular format offered online as a digital Lunchbreak on the first Friday of each month.
