DIASCA Dialogue #5 - Sylva (DFTG)

We are delighted to bring you the fifth DIASCA Dialogue presented by the International Trade Centre (ITC).

We cordially invite you to join us on Monday, October 12^th 3:00-4:00pm CEST.

Sylva (DFTG) is a free United Nations platform developed by the International Trade Centre to help producers, cooperatives, exporters, importers and public institutions prepare and manage the information needed for deforestation-free trade.

Through one guided workspace, users can collect or import farm-plot data, check and correct data-quality issues, analyse potential deforestation risks, review legality information, map supply chains, organize due-diligence evidence and decide how their information is shared or exported. Sylva (DFTG) is designed as an interoperability layer rather than a replacement for existing systems: it connects complementary tools and data services, including FAO WHISP, FAO Ground, GeoRoots and other geospatial and traceability solutions. The session will include a practical demonstration of the platform, showing how a user can move from preparing plot data to reviewing risks and organizing due-diligence information. It will also feature some of the other EUDR-related tools connected to Sylva (DFTG) and illustrate how these solutions can work together to create a more accessible and inclusive digital ecosystem for deforestation-free value chains.
